Risk assessment and clinic procedure.
All patients will be screened for COVID with telephone assessment before their appointment to ensure they do not have any Covid-19 symptoms.
Criteria for face to face appointment - Patient displays no symptoms including , high temperature, continuous cough or feeling unwell or has came into contact with any known COVID cases in the last 14 days.
Patient will have temperature taken at 2m distance on arrival, they must wear face protection and bring own towels as required, they must use hand sanitiser on entering and leaving the building.
All equipment will be cleaned following Government guidance between every patient with virucidal disinfectant. Allowing 15 minutes to air the room and sanitise all equipment and change appropriate PPE.
The physiotherapist will be wearing appropriate PPE equipment consisting of gloves, face mask, face shield and apron when in close contact with patients.
All general waste will be stated for 72 hours in guidance with government COVID - 19 policy
All patients and staff are advised not to attend our clinic if they are displaying possible signs of COVID-19 or if they should be self-isolating under current government guidelines.
All staff and patients will be temperature checked on entering the clinic and advised not to enter if their temperature is greater than 37.8.
The waiting room and appointment times will be organised to ensure social distancing guidelines can be maintained (2 metres are kept between patients), there will be 15 minutes between appointments and patients will be called when able to enter, while waiting in their car in designated car parking facility.
There will be no access to public toilets at the Marina.
We will be operating a significantly reduced service to minimise the number of patients and staff in the clinic at one time.
All patients must complete PMH check and declaration for treatment confirming they are symptom free on arrival.
